The Nathan James, true to the name of the show, is the last known ship of the U.S. Navy to still be active and the last ship in the world that still upheld its late country's values, procedures and orders. In the Season 2 finale "A More Perfect Union" the Nathan James made port in St. Louis, Missouri and spent a few months in drydock.
