  • Creeping Chrysanthemum
rdfs:comment
  • Creeping Chrysanthemum is an enemy in Pikmin 2 for Nintendo GameCube and New Play Control for Wii. This monster would hide in the floor, so it looks like flowers. It would come out if Olimar, Louie, President or the Pikmin walked on top of its flowers, it would pop up from the floor. This is a fairly easy monster to kill, even easer if you have Purple Pikmin. There is a few in Awakening Wood, and three in Wistful Wild. It is found underground in many places too. It was not in Pikmin, it was also a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. It is apart of the Chrysanthemum Family.
  • The Creeping Chrysanthemum (ビックリ菊) is an enemy in Pikmin 2. When dormant, it greatly resembles the large yellow flowers known as the Margaret used for level scenery. It can be told apart from the normal flowers, as it has one less flower, no leaves on the "stem", and the large flowers have the Chrysanthemum's eyes visible. It is possible that their appearance is based on the Piranha Plants of the Super Mario video game series, but this is just speculation. The Chrysanthemum is also a collectible trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

It moves moderately slowly, and will return to its original spot if left alone for a while. This enemy is not able to be petrified while it is in the ground.
