rdfs:comment
  • The exodus, was the liberation of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery. Among all the events in the Bible, the exodus is mentioned the most. As every Jew must remember the exodus every day of his life, it is mentioned in every Shaharit and Arvit prayer. The exodus marks the first steps of the Israelites as a people, under the leadership of Moses, and its importance is only heightened by the fact that Israel received the Torah at Mount Sinai soon thereafter.
