  • Gleason Fournier (born September 8, 1991, in Saint-Fabien, Quebec) is a Canadian defenceman playing for the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL. He played major junior for the Rimouski Océanic of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2007 to 2011. The Detroit Red Wings chose him 90th overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and signed him to a three year, $1.8 million contract in 2010. Fournier turned pro in 2011-12 with the Grand Rapids Griffins and then was reassigned to the Walleye. Both are Red Wings' farm teams.
