| abstract | - Togerics (トゲリクス Togerikusu?) is a flower-like enemy from Mega Man X4 that appears in Split Mushroom's stage. It is a Bioroid that was created from a failed chemical experiment. They appear in Yellow and Blue variants and can only be destroyed by attacking the core. The Yellow variant will start shooting energy pellets. If a Togeric core is destroyed, it will regenerate after a few seconds. The Blue variant will shoot small bombs that explode after a certain time and shoot pellets from the crystals on the vine. Once the core it's destroyed it will not regenerate, and the vine will stop shooting but still remain on the stage. A closed Blue variant also exists that has longer spikes. Can't be destroyed when the flower is closed.
