Although they they cannot traverse rugged ground, they can move freely across water and wetlands. They are often fitted with two large turrets. The first turret usually mounts a vehicle heavy laser and vehicle machine gun. The first turret mounts 6 type-2 guided missiles. Sensors include video cameras, infra-red cameras and searchlights. Defensive systems includes infra-red jammer, power screens, and 20 coats of armor.

Defensive systems includes infra-red jammer, power screens, and 20 coats of armor. Due to the complexity of the controls, drivers are required to possess 2 or more levels of Technician. As a military vehicle, it is highly illegal for civilian to possess this hovertank due to the Arms Proliferation Act (except by UPF Grant #739).
