  • Traversing the path from the now doomed Mizuho Village, Agito and Sayaka contemplated what had just occurred. "Okay…" Sayaka was still finding the events of the past two days tough to swallow. It was becoming clearer and clearer that Agito was much more than an ordinary Plus who had just recently awakened her spiritual power. Maybe the change in the feel of Agito's reiatsu had something to do with why she was so sought out by others? Sayaka could only guess and guess. It was probably some other, more heinous reason that shouldn't leave the mouth of the people involved in Agito's past. But eh, what can you do? The faster that Sayaka found out the reason why Agito was so highly sought after, the faster that she could rest peacefully.

"…I still don't understand. None of this makes sense." Sayaka yelled in frustration as she clawed at her crimson and stark-white hair, making a mess of it. Dammit! She didn't have even the slightest clue about what was going on anymore. Perhaps it was best to attempt to take her mind off such matters and focus on the trip…to wherever she was going. "…Alright, the path we're heading down right now leads to Hana City…which I hear is currently experiencing snow. A lot of snow." Agito gave Sayaka a small aside glance, wondering, "…Snow is cold, right…?" Sighing, the older woman responded with a half-hearted chuckle, "…Agito, I love ya, but you're as naïve as a rabbit on a freeway. …But really, were you making a joke?" Agito couldn't understand the meaning of what Sayaka had asked. She was completely serious. "N-No, I was serious. Is snow cold or not?" Sayaka's eyes widened and became completely blank white. Snow being cold was basic knowledge. How could the person before her not know of that? Was the Pope a Catholic? Did a camel have humps? Did a bear do its business in the woods? All of these questions were concurrent with one another. The answer to snow being cold was the same answer to all three of those questions. Yes. "Agito, how do you not know that? It's like 'is the cult that must not be named a scam?' Of course snow's cold, derpy." With that, Sayaka tousled Agito's hair; the transition from equal to mentally handicapped had occurred for Agito. Such an action caused Agito to growl at the one patting her head in annoyance. "O-Oi, I really didn't know…I can't remember anything before six years ago." Agito spouted as she blushed profusely in embarrassment, hoping that Sayaka would gloss over this verbal mistake. But such naiveté drew even more questions about Agito; how much did she not know? Was she not well-educated in the realms of common sense? Since six years ago, Agito had to learn to walk, talk, and function in daily life all over again. It was like she wasn't a thirteen year old, but a seven year old mentally. "Argh, Agito's very existence keeps raising questions!" Sayaka screamed to herself, while tearing at her hair in bewilderment. She hadn't come across a specimen as unusual as Agito before; her peculiar reiatsu only hammered in the fact that she was something far apart than a Mototsu, Seishin, Shinigami, Fōrun-juu, Excavado, Yakubyougami, Reikon Kyuuban, Sentōkijin, Vizard, Hollow, Arrancar, Mod Soul, Plus, or even a Human. Sayaka began to rant, "…You see, you shouldn't rely on any fancy tricks to become stronger. It's all about hard work and effort. To go about said hard work, you need a drive, determination, and you must be willing to go to any length to complete your training. Don't ever slack off, not even once; all that hard work will regress and it'll feel like you never gained any strength despite training for years. Oh, and don't use that lame-arse 'my reishi patterns are similar to the Hōgyoku, so I'll just learn it instantly when I need it, surprising everyone' excuse. That power surges within you until you don't need it; it's like you've learnt the skills for that exact moment, but you can't use the abilities again afterwards unless you train, train, train." "Since I couldn't do anything to save you during your fight with that guy, you're gonna need to become a helluva lot stronger from now on. I can't protect you. …It's an emotional problem of mine. I can't use my abilities to inflict harm anymore. But that's beside the point. This most certainly isn't about me. This is about your lack of skill. Your reiatsu is incomprehensible, yet it's wild and untamed; therefore, it's weaker than even Haruko's. Agito, you need to learn to control your spiritual power and master every skill you can utilize in order to even hope to stand a chance against beings such as that guy who destroyed Mizuho Village and that scorpion Tenjōgekido. Do. You. Understand?" …All Agito could hear coming out of Sayaka's mouth was "Blah, blah, blah Hōgyoku, blah, blah, blah", unfortunately. "…Who's Haruko?" Agito questioned, as Sayaka responded in an unsure tone, "…To be honest, I have no idea; but she sure sounds disappointing." "…When we get to Hana City, I'm going to work you like a STI-free prostitute until you're powerful enough to take on ten Vasto Lordes and ten Captain-Commanders at the same time. Got it?" These words sent a powerful chill down Agito's spine. It felt as if Sayaka's previous affable personality was replaced with a strict-as-heck drill sergeant who would not relent until Agito was powerful enough to defeat previous Captain-Commander Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto in a single strike while simultaneously manhandling Sōsuke Aizen and eating a Quadruple-stack Big Mac. "Those eyes don't look too friendly…" Agito's thoughts hit their mark; though this bull's-eye would open an abyssal torrent that would drag Agito into hell with no possible hope to return.
