| abstract | - James Hiller is a character featured in Galaxies at Wars. He's a rebel who was a former soldier. He belongs to the special task force amongst the rebels. He's described as hyperactive yet still smart soldier who is also capable of leading a team. During the betrayal he's heavily wounded. Some of the still alive rebels help him survive and hide him in a place where no one can find him. After John and Luna return he returns to the rebel headquarters. Though he can't fight in the beginning due to his wounds, he gives tactical support to the rebels and also designs their security system which saves the rebels from ten waves of attacks by the airforce from Iscariot. He's also one of the few survivors in the last battle, where he in a last fight, crushes the special forces from Iscariot by using John and Lunas suggested tactic, tricking them into thinking that he's doing a frontal attack, while he does actually attack from all sides at once. After the special forces are crushed, James has to retreat on General Hollows commands, since his team is not needed anymore, and he has to heal his wounds.
