| abstract | - Mount Illuso is the home of the Magical Mimics. It is located near Mount Phantastico, across the Deadly Desert from the Land of Oz. As Phantastico is the home of the Phanfasms, so the Mimics are rooted in Illuso. The difference is that Illuso is a hollow peak, and the Mimics live inside it — so that they are relatively mysterious and little-known to the outside world. Mount Illuso is a sinister place with deep dungeons — but it is also interpenetrated with positive influences left by the fairy queen Lurline. (The Magical Mimics in Oz)
