  • Trapped Chest
rdfs:comment
  • A Trapped Chest is a redstone-related block that will emit a low redstone signal when a player opens it. As more players peer into the chest, the redstone signal will increase. Trapped chests can primarily be used to create traps, but can also create a few nifty redstone creations. Like standard Chests, two trapped chests can be put together to make a large (trapped) chest. They have a very faint red tint in some areas, suggesting the presence of redstone dust to the wary eye. If the signal can be strengthened by putting a redstone repeater next to the trapped chest; to hide the chest, steps can be put on top (or slabs).
  • When Trapped Chests are opened, they emit a Redstone signal. This can be handy for traps where a harmless- looking chest turns out to spell doom when it triggers a TNT block beneath your feet while you're rummaging around for Diamonds. The only way to tell the difference is the red tint around the catch.
  • Trapped Chests are Redstone-related Blocks that were added in Update 0.13.0. They are similar to Chests, as they can be used for storage, but send out a Redstone signal when opened.
