This doesn't mean Werten lacks any cons. He has the slowest falling speed, hindering his endurance as well as his survivablity from the upper blast lines. He also relies heavily on projectiles, which characters like Ness, Pit and Mr. Game and Watch can take advantage of. His Jetpack recovery is predicatable at times, and can be easily edgeguarded by characters like Ion and Falco. Regardless, Werten is considered overpowered, and has even became banned in some tournaments, making him the third character in Smash history, after Meta Knight in Brawl and Bayonetta in SSB4 (Only in Spain), to suffer this.
