| abstract | - Wimpfish was most famous for his Youtube videos which mostly contained RuneScape gameplay with himself narrating his progress in game and making general comments on the real world. The Wimpfish YouTube channel was first created under the name Sam 1695, the original name of the RuneScape account. It was later changed to the Wimpfish channel in 2012. In the first 3 months of video making, Wimpfish amounted to 5 YouTube videos detailing his goals for RuneScape. The last of these 5 videos was uploaded to YouTube on the 5th of December 2007, 2 days after his birthday as mentioned in the video. it should be noted that in this video Wimpfish was level 43 combat.On the 1st of January 2008, Wimpfish uploaded the video that would make a name for him the RuneScape community. The video, titled "Santa hat? /w commentary" gained 9,000 views in the first day and showed Wimpfish begging for a santa hat in the World 4 servers at Varrack west bank. Following this miniature breakthrough into the RuneScape YouTube audience, Wimpfish uploaded his seventh video titled "A Long Way from Lumbridge" and gained 19,200 views in 24 hours.
