abstract | - [Source] Deep-fried coin-crabs were a type of seafood dish served at the Horizon Hotel bar on the Outer Rim world of Taris. Utilizing local coin-crabs, a species of crustacean that was native to the Tarisian coastlines, the small, tasty crabs were deep-fried and served to patrons in bowls. In the year 40 ABY, the veteran Mandalorian soldier Goran Beviin ordered a bowl of deep-fried coin-crabs while visiting the Horizon Hotel. Beviin enjoyed the crabs' crunchiness, and likened the deep-fried crustaceans to the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong whom the Mandalorians had fought close to a decade prior, during the species' invasion of the galaxy.
