Aquino who issued Proclamation No. 266 declaring Mother's Day every second Sunday of May and Father's Day every third Sunday of June as national events for more than 3 decades, superseding the previous proclamation issued by the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos.

Navea expanded the parental respect and tribute in other parts of Asia and the world thru the Golden Mother and Father Awards, eventually spearheading the Grandparents & Senior Citizens Day every second Sunday of September and the Family Week Celebration every last week of September, proclaimed as national celebrations thru Presidential Proclamation No. 60 issued by former President Fidel V. Ramos. His latest Mother’s Day event was held last May 13, 2012 during the 32nd Huwarang Ina Awards, wherein one of the awardees is the mother of the popular Tulfo brothers, including broadcasters and journalists Mon Tulfo and Erwin Tulfo aired on major news channels nationwide, particularly on GMA 7. Navea was also featured in the Manila Bulletin Father’s Day Celebration supplement commemorating the 32nd Huwarang Ama Awards dated June 17, 2012. Navea who also spearheaded the Consumers Month Celebration every March, and eventually founded the Annual Consumers Choice Awards, Consumers Quality Awards, Seal of Excellence Award and the Global Brand Award to confer tribute to outstanding consumer products and companies with ceremonies held in the Philippines, Thailand, Hongkong, China, Singapore, Malaysia and other parts of Asia Pacific Region. The latest event was held last March 20, 2012 during the 32nd Seal of Excellence and Dangal ng Bayan Awards. He further promoted the tribute to Outstanding Achievers in business, arts & entertainment, sports, public service, education, humanitarian service and other major professional fields worldwide thru the Asian Achiever Award, Dangal ng Bayan Award, People's Choice Award, Global Achiever Award, Who's Who in the Philippines and Asia Pacific, among others in his desire to motivate individuals to excel in their achievements thru public recognition and contribute to nation-building. He is the editor-publisher of Variety Newsmagazine and the President of Mediapower PR & Advertising and Asia Pacific Awards Council. A publicist-writer & PR-business consultant of prominent personalities, Navea also became the editor of Pacific Chronicle, a weekly newspaper based in Saipan and Guam, USA and the Consumers Journal, a quarterly consumers magazine. He is an active officer and member of the Quezonian Lions Club International based in Quezon City, Philippines and International Lions Club based in Saipan, USA. A multi-awarded achiever, Navea was conferred Special Presidential Achievement Citations by the late President Corazon C. Aquino and former President Fidel V. Ramos at Malacanang Palace for his significant achievements in promoting parental respect and consumer protection awareness thru his tireless spearheading of Mother's Day, Father's Day, Consumers Week Celebration and other national events. Saipan Lions Club, Rotary Club, Caloocan Jaycees, Asian Excellence Awards Committee and other prominent award-giving bodies likewise recognized his civic and professional achievements thru various commendations. Navea run for congressional seat under Damayan partylist in the May 2010 but lost due to inadequate logistics. He is the Founding Chairman of Ang Ating Damayan (AAD) Citizens & Family Alliance, an advocacy group for the welfare of Filipino families, less fortunate youth and the senior citizens. Navea is the son of the late civic leader and educator Dean Nieves Nazareno-Navea and the late government Bureau of Customs Collector Enrique O. Navea.
