He was respected in the criminal underworld as a source of many things; information, weapons, and as an agent for assassins and bounty hunters. He was known to represent some of the best in the business and was well-paid for his services. What helped to distinguish him from others in the same field was Glasius' reputation for honesty and respect towards his clients, which was a rare commodity to see in any underworld profession. Glasius moved to Coruscant before the birth of his only daughter, Alessandra, to keep her from growing up around the xenophobic attitudes exhibited by many of his people. From there, he expanded his business empire in both markets, including doing some work for Black Sun (although he never joined the organization). His contact with Black Sun brought him into touch with a fearsome Barabel assassin known as Skarrek, which touched off a long and rewarding business venture for both parties. During 5 ABY, Glasius' wife, Meera, was killed in a tragic accident. It had a profound effect on him and caused Glasius to turn his focus inward so he could spend more time with his only remaining family, Alessandra. He taught his daughter everything he knew about business, intending for her to take over his empire one day. Unfortunately, the day came sooner than he expected when he was brutally murdered seven years later by a Shi'ido assassin named Isar Olaar who was impersonating Skarrek. Isar had been working for a corrupt New Republic official known as Kyn Rilos who wanted Glasius dead because the Arkanian had learned of Rilos' plot to replace Leia Organa Solo as the Prime Minister. Framing Skarrek for the murder, however, proved to be a major mistake by Rilos, as was letting Alessandra live. The two of them killed Isar Olaar and, along with the Trandoshan mercenary, Ket Maliss, exposed Rilos' treachery before taking his life as well, avenging Glasius' murder. Alessandra then assumed control of her father's business empire, running it successfully from Thyferra until the advent of the Xen'Chi Invasion.
