The Great Alliance is hit by European diseases as an estimated fourth of all Native Americans in the Alliance die within a year. 1570- A large Spanish Army defeats the Alliance in 3 large battles. A treaty gives the Spanish the Yucatan peninsula. 1600- Another plague fits, killing a sixth of all Alliance members. 1620- Religious pilgrims from England are massacred at Cape Cod. 1650- England, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden declare war on the Great Alliance to “defend the interests of Europe”. 1670- The first American War ends. The Europeans win, and are granted Cape Cod, Long Island, and the Caribbean Tributaries. 1680- After two battles and the threat of larger conflict, the Great Alliance relinquishes their claims to the whole Atlantic coast. The capital of the Wampanoag is moved to the backwater town of Cahokia, where the entire leadership of the Great Alliance is relocated. 1699- After stealing ideas from Europe, the Great Alliance begins to modernize. 1733- Modernization complete, the Great Alliance is now similar on the outer edge to any European country. There is a national language and alphabet, a few newspapers, a highway system, and a modern army. The book “Peace and War: The Story of the Great Alliance” is translated and becomes popular in Europe. 1750- The Cahokia Opera Company tours Europe, singing the tragedy “Massasoit’s Bride”. It brings in a packed house each time it appears. 1799- Russia declares war on the Great Alliance. After routing the Alliance in three battles, Russia takes over all Canadian lands. 1805- An influential leader, Tecumseh, his following break off from the Alliance. This begins the Civil War. 1815- Tecumseh takes over, overthrowing the Alliance’s government. He begins radical changes, including increased military and the beginning of isolation. 1840- Tecumseh dies, leaving a much changed Alliance. The next leader, the young Sioux Sitting Bull, leads the Alliance after his death. 1854- Britain fights the Alliance. After winning, Britain takes all the land east of the Mississippi River. 1855- The new capital of the Alliance is selected. It is the town of Pueblo Bonito. 1899- Sitting Bull dies. A collective body, the Inquisition, now lead the Alliance. 1910- The Alliance increases its military capacities to the breaking point. 1915- The Alliance pushes on all fronts in “The War to End All Wars”. 1916- The League of Nations, France, Great Britain, Russia, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Serbia, the Ottoman Empire, Romania and Bulgaria declare war on the Alliance. 1946- The war ends after a nuclear bomb is dropped on Pueblo Bonito. The war destroys the Alliance. The nation is divided between the League, and the creation of the United States happens. 1950- The last king of the Wampanoag, Somerset Running-Bear dies. He is the last of a 1,400 year dynasty. 2000- The memorial at Pueblo Bonito is erected, depicting 5 Native Americans throughout the ages.
