On the day of the Global Blackout, Myhill introduces journalist Angie Tremont to Lloyd Simcoe. ("Course Correction") Myhill is one of four people to whom Simcoe sends an email urging that they go public with the experiment that caused the Global Blackout and take responsibility for the 20 million deaths incurred. The other three email recipients are Elizabeth Rhee, Gabe Clayson, and Philippe Tarhan. ("Playing Cards with Coyote") Simon strongly disagrees with the course of action urged in the email and visits Simcoe at Angeles Hospital to try to dissuade him. ("Playing Cards with Coyote") During their conversation, Simcoe tells Simon, "I'm going public with or without Myhill's cooperation or yours," possibly suggesting either that Myhill and Simon are leaders of the experiment, or that Myhill and Simon are those most strongly opposed to going public.
