abstract
  • V8r Boi is a music video brickfilm by Paul Hollingsworth and Sarah Stinchcombe. It is set to the song "Sk8er Boi" by Avril Lavigne, and features characters from Star Wars. It was created for the BrickFest 2003 Music Video Animation Competition and won in the category "Best Music Video", which was chosen by the audience. V8r Boi is an early brickfilm by Hollingsworth, who would return to brickfilming in 2011 and find success on YouTube. The original file of this film has not been located as it seems Hollingsworth did not put his films online at the time, and it has not been later uploaded to his YouTube channel. However, Greg Perry attended BrickFest 2003 and made a camcorder recording of the full animation screening event, which he shared on Brickfilms.com. This provided the only known available copy of the film.
