In his second appearence he creates some mechanical apes that worship the monkeys so they let their guards down and he can fulfill his masters wish to eliminate the heroes. Once he believes the moment is right he mind controls the apes only to ultimately be thwarted once the device controlling them is disabled. After this Scrapperton is captured and pleads for mercy as he doesn't want to face his master now that he's failed him again.
