  • Shahryār or Shahriar (File:Shahryār.png) was an Aldegarian prophet and the founder of the Zamani denomination of Yazdism, once a widespread religion but now much reduced in followers. Shahriar was an Aldegarian mobed during the Phraatid Empire who taught what he saw as a purified form of Yazdism, but which was considered by the clergy at the time to be heretical. In Daenism, Shahriar is regarded as a Bīdārhasti (Bodhisattva) and a forerunner of Bahram Bidar.
