  • The Army of the Dead, also called the Nightsister Zombies, was a force of zombies on Dathomir who answered the call of the Nightsisters to fight against the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Separatist invasion of Dathomir, the Nightsisters' homeworld. • The Army of the Dead are the Overlord of Death's main forces. They a simply reanimated bodies forming skeletons and zombies, or spirits forming ghosts. Zombies are quite easy to kill, with few gunshots taking them out. Skeleton's are stronger and more numerous, and could withstand grenade explosions. Ghosts are quite powerful and can only be killed by magic and other powers. Liches are the commanders of the army, and are quite powerful, again only magic and other powers can kill them, though they could withstand anything and everything and require a masssive force to destroy them. Conjurer Skeletons are the second to Death. The army was used by the Overlord of Darkness when he absorbed Death.
  • The Army of the Dead, also known as the Dead Men of Dunharrow or Oathbreakers, were the ghosts of deceased Men of the White Mountains, cursed to remain in Middle-earth by Isildur after they abandoned their oath to aid him in the War of the Last Alliance. They haunted the caverns beneath the Dwimorberg, and the valley of Harrowdale that lay in its shadow, though they were said to appear in the valley only in times of trouble or death. They were led by the King of the Dead, the most fearsome and terrifying of the whole Dead Army. Since the line of Isildur had "ended" (after a couple of hundred years), no one could call upon the Dead Army to aid them in their hours of need, as they would only answer to an Heir of Isildur.

  • Army of the Dead is is a death knight ability learned at level 80. It was the first death knight ability to be announced. It is a channeled ability which summons a number of ghouls to fight for the death knight. These creatures run around and attack nearby hostile targets at random. Unlike most other guardian pets, ghouls cannot benefit from Bloodlust/Heroism directly. However, if these spells are active on the player prior to summoning the ghouls, they will benefit from the added haste.

Their speed is slightly faster than infantry, it is very essential for the army to be summoned with strategy as they have a very short timer.
