• About:
Driven by passion and fueled by experience, such is the engine known as A Texas Funeral. Created not so much by the desire to create something new but rather by that of standing the test of time, this band's music can only speak for itself. In their first year, A Texas Funeral have already managed to build a consistent fan base and a regular show schedule, including dates with the likes of The Ataris, The Flatliners (Stomp), Much The Same (Nitro) and Choke (Smallman).

Now established on the Montreal scene, A Texas Funeral will soon be ready to release their first EP on Fight the Mentality Records, recorded at Pavlo's very own Studio 408. Blending styling's often associated with the likes of Moneen, Saosin or At The Drive-In, and adding vocal tones resembling The Strokes or The Smiths, the 8 track opus is certainly a piece of work to be accounted for. Accompanying the release of this EP, a musical video and a fall tour wrap up the next 3-4 months to come, A Texas Funeral will certainly make their mark on the Canadian scene in months and years to come.
