  • A Spirit Star was a star that represented the spirit of a Toa. As long as the star burned in the sky, the Toa it represented was alive. A Spirit Star would correspond to the color of its Toa's Element (i.e. brown star for a Toa of Stone). Only Toa who accomplished a great deed could gain a Spirit Star, although this was not always the case. After the Toa Metru united together to defeat Makuta Teridax, Toa Mangai Lhikan's Spirit Star split into six others, each representing one of the Toa Metru in the Metru Nui sky.
