A similar model with graphic prints was issued as the RG370DXGP1. The RG370DX design is based off of an earlier discontinued Ibanez model from Korea, the EX370. The original EX370 had triangle inlays, a Floyd Rose tremolo, and a similar two humbucker and a single coil pickup layout. The RG370B is a similar model with dot fretboard inlays. The RG370 is also similar but with dot inlays and chrome hardware. For 2005, a new RG370DX was introduced, with production moving to Indonesia and several changes made including different pickups, bridge and neck.
