  • Johnny Beauchamp (March 13, 1923 - April 17, 1981) was a NASCAR driver from Harlan, IA. He competed in just twenty-three Sprint Cup Series events in his career, but still managed to win two events and earn ten top-tens. His two victories were at Atlanta (1959) and Nashville (1960). He was also declared the winner in the first Daytona 500, but Lee Petty was later given the victory after a photo finish revealed Petty was in front. Beauchamp also managed a best points effort of 11th in 1960.He died of a Heart Attack(?) at the age of 58
