I said "Maybe some pro photoshopper can remove it or something" the prev nomination, and nobody protested, so that's why i did it. Btw, it also has no AA artefacts and no background between his legs. Maybe you could still support for that, if you think it is fan art. I still think this is no fan art as only a VERY small part of it has been edited away, as it is ugly.(File:Ghost (monster).png is also fan art then, as the trans wasn't in it at the time of the screenshot. it was added later.) However, this image, is different from the way it should be. Just be bold and fix the transparency, without removing the tooth. * Oppose - The previous just won a nomination. The appliance of removing something from it shouldn't be done in my opinion. I don't see anything wrong with leaving the "unsightly" tooth there. Adding transparency is allowing the main article in the image to be focused on, this tooth wasn't something that needed to be taken away. I do not oppose because I would think it could be fan art, but because of what has been stated and what purpose does it truthfully serves. I also think that the tooth made him more believable than his more "gummy" (he doesn't bite, he'll just gum you to death) grin in aforementioned file. On another note, the Avatar appears to have lost some colour in the edit. The background around Monster X is not Monster X, and thus, is irrelevant to the image. Smoothing images' edges is fine because it does not remove relevant content from the image, it only make the edges look nicer than usual jagged pixels. Whenever I see a nom I always zoom in to see the image and it is updated correctly when you see that. The voters near the top don't even know that the ONLY thing they are voting for is the tooth since you went ahead and did all the other things such as: "Forgot some background between his legs, filled up the notorious "tooth", removed some AA artefacts, smoothened a bit." This should make them re-vote as there vote no longer counts since they though they were voting for more changes. I have two suggestions: restart the nomination or put over the votes cast BEFORE you uploaded the changes, stating a reason, and ask the voters to re-vote. This is not about the future voters as you seem to think it is, but the voters who voted before the change.
