He attended college at Rusi University where he received his Bachelors in Political Science. He then went on to Kien University in Hulstria and received his law degree in the field of Constitutional Law. He returned to New Englia to practice law and worked at the Union for Civil Liberties for a year before he was selected by Governor-General McLaren, to become the Solicitor General of New Englia. Townsend remained at the position for 10 years until he was nominated by Governor-General Dhupam to become the Chief Justice of the court. He is married to Monica Pratt-Townsend and they have 3 children.
