  • Jantrek, also known as Darth Moro, was a Miraluka male born on Alpheridies in 1017 BBY, during the final years of the New Sith Wars. He was the youngest of ten children. As a boy, he studied alchemy on Aduba-3 at the feet of Seviss Vaa. Seviss Vaa went to join Lord Kaan in fighting the 7th Battle of Ruusan, where the two Sith Lords perished; Kaan left Jantrek behind on Aduba-3 to tend to alchemical projects. Following Vaa's death, and the seeming end of the Sith, Jantrek sought a master powerful enough to protect him from the Jedi and rich enough to fund his research. He found such a patron in Patrev. At the bidding of his master, Jantrek set up a monster-breeding "reserve" on Hellenes Gracca in 800 BBY. Here Jantrek bred Behemoths, Leviathans, mutant rancors (a variety similar to the earlier terentateks and later chrysalides), and other monstrosities. Jantrek's monsters spread over Helleness Gracca and, as a result of introduction, neighboring Beroutz, weakening the local dynasties. In the following years, Patrev's children (Algyd on Hellenes Gracca and the G'ye Cult on Beroutz) would prove instrumental in cleansing the worlds of these monsters, making them essential protectors and heroes, and assuring their rise to rulership, perhaps all part of Patrev's ultimate plan. However, while the Cult of G'ye allied itself with Jantrek and made sure he supplied them with a fresh supply of monsters to "save" their followers from, Algyd truly wished to eliminate the creatures once and for all. The G'ye Cult allied itself with Yodatine, who trough them met Jantrek. Jantrek swore his loyalty to Yodatine, who gave him the Sith name "Darth Moro." In 799 BBY, Yoda, Ambrose Ius, Yiba, and Zorith destroyed Tirnod Station; the resulting explosion killed Jantrek, who had been commanding the station at the time. In 782 BBY, Algyd destroyed the last of Jantrek's monsters—on both Hellennes Gracca and Beroutz—with the help of Yoda, Ambrose Ius, Zorith, Zudu, and Veronica. Jantrek was skilled in cryptography, gymnastics, boxing, and wrestling. Jantrek's possessions included a suit of Invismasque armor, a portable astrochart, and a Sith Gimertrator.
