The current title holder, Demogorgon, earned the name due to his strength, evil, inventiveness and experimenting, which has unleashed numerous new evils. While the title is contested by Orcus, Prince of the Undead, and Graz'zt, the Dark Prince, no demon has yet to rise and become strong enough to actually unseat Demogorgon.
