- Sir Anthony Carey Lewis KBE (2 March 1915 – 5 June 1983), also known as Sir Carey Lewis, was an English conductor, composer, editor, and music educator.[1] He is best known for co-founding and serving as the first chief editor of Musica Britannica. He also penned several critical editions ofOPERAS by George Frideric Handel and of Henry Purcell's The Fairy Queen,[2] and served for many years as honorary secretary of the Purcell Society.[3] As a conductor he played a role in the baroque music revival of the mid 20th century by leading performances of several HandelOPERA revivals. He was named a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1972.[2]

His life is changed when the troll kids attack him with troll dust and then later he's visited by Wolf, who gives him a magic, wish granting bean in exchange for the whereabouts of Virginia and Prince Wendell. Reluctantly he agrees and swallows the magic bean and then uses the 5 wishes for himself but discovers that there's a catch with the bean when he gets arrested and his wishes get out of control. Fortunately he uses the 6th wish to escape the cops and when he joins Virginia and Prince Wendell, he uses the last wish to enable Prince Wendell to speak.

He pursued further studies in Paris with Nadia Boulanger in 1934. From 1935-1946 he served on the music staff of the BBC as a conductor and composer. In 1947 he joined the music faculty of the University of Birmingham. He left that post in 1968TO JOIN the music faculty of the Royal Academy of Music where he taught until his retirement in 1982.[2] One of his notableSTUDENTS was the musicologist Nigel Fortune on whom he had a profound influence.[3] He died in Haslemere.[2]

Through their adventures when at first, they want to just return to the real world but eventually save the 9 kingdoms from Christine Lewis and defeat her. At the end of the movie, Prince Wendell offers Anthony a job at his castle, which he accepts.
