Currently And If That Don't Work? clocks in at more than two hundred thousand words over a mere 11 chapters; it was started in 2008 and is still going. Shinji rapidly becomes either unrecognizable or more "natural". A bit of Author Appeal with the militarization of NERV and the way a certain character dresses. The OCs are a lot of fun. By the same author is The Return, a Ranma ½/SailorMoon cross which does much the same thing with those franchises.
