  • The following are changes in the Wilder class from its listing in Dreamscarred Press material.
  • Wilder (妖獣, Yōjū, lit. "Mythical Beast") is a race of demons in the Megami Tensei series. This race represents the Dark aspect of the beast species. All animals in this category are often described extremely evil, disastrous or ferocious in their respective legends.
  • Wilder was the successor of the Professor and was the second leader of the Organization. Wilder characteristically wears his blonde hair styled up, and he wears a white suit like his predecessor. His two righthand men while leading the Organization were Hoffman, who also had served the Professor, and Stack.
  • Wilder is the Chitan Star in Suikoden III.
  • Wilder era el sucesor de Simon Judeau y fue el segundo líder de la Organización. Se lleva su pelo estilo con fijador y lleva un traje blanco al igual que su predecesor. Sus dos hombres derechas erán Hoffman y Stack.
  • Wilders are those who are naturally able to channel who are not trained in their abilities. During the Third Age, all men are wilders(until the founding of the Black Tower). Only one in four wilders survive, usually by developing blocks on their powers to keep from burning themselves out accidentally. Many wilders develop simple weaves for either eavesdropping or using limited forms of Compulsion, the latter of which are drummed out of them in the White Tower.
  • Wilder is a veteran member of the Tales forums. As of August 2008, he will have been a member for four years. Despite his veterancy, he has yet to do anything significant. Wilder is a senior in High School, where he plays Drumline. He used to be a part of a local band known as The BFGs until they went on an indefinite hiatus in the summer of 2008. He is still known to constantly bring it up.
  • A wilder is a collective term for women who have learned to channel the One Power on their own, without formal education or particular skill. It can be a derogatory term, especially when used by certain Aes Sedai who went to the White Tower to train, although at other times it is simply used as a descriptor. The term has not been used for men in living memory, as all men who can channel have been doomed to go insane from the taint on saidin, obviating any need for a formal instruction program, until recently.
  • Once, Wilder (ワイルダー Wairudā) was just a typical juvenile delinquent pretty-boy who expressed his discontent with the world by founding a motorcycle gang with some of his friends. Then one day, while they were having the sort of anti-authority fun The Man didn't like them having, they got beaten up by a rival gang. Having had the one thing he gave anything in the way of a flying fig about taken away, Wilder decided that the best thing to do would be to take his frustration out on society by joining up with the Decepticons. And to his "credit", Wilder didn't do it by half—he has flung himself so deeply into the evil world of the Decepticons and embraced it so eagerly, that there may be no coming back.
  • Wilder is a character in Dark Cloud. He is the Sheriff of Queens, alongside his deputy Sam. He takes his job seriously, and is always ready to help Toan and company. He'd like his station to have two prison cells to deal with Queens' criminals, and be positioned near King so he can keep an eye on him. Upon completion of his house, he issues Toan with a Search Warrant so he can find out more about the Moon Orb from Joker.

As a Headmaster Junior warrior, Wilder is bonded to a Transtector from the planet Master which takes the form of a winged, bipedal wolf-monster. In becoming a Decepticon, Wilder believes he has sold his soul, but based on the disinterested ease with which he is able to admit to this, he seems to consider it small change. And the hell with other people—Wilder is only out for Wilder, and the rest of the world can burn as long as he can claim to be powerful. As a Headmaster Junior, he is above humans, and he won't hesitate to beat his once-best friend half to death or kill a dog to prove it. He's pretty much the worst kind of douche around. Women who can channel fall into two categories; women who can be taught, and a far smaller group of women with the spark who will start to touch the saidar instinctively, whether they want to or not. Those of the latter group who survive this learning curve, approximately one in four, are called "wilders" if they do not seek out training once they discover what is happening. "Of four who have the inborn ability that you [Nynaeve] and Egwene have, three die if we do not find them and train them. It is not as horrible a death as the men die, but neither is it pretty, if any death can be called so. Convulsions. Screaming. It takes days, and once it begins, there is nothing that can be done to stop it, not by all the Aes Sedai in Tar Valon together." —Moiraine to Nynaeve Even those wilders who learn how to manage their abilities tend to do so at a price; they almost invariably have some sort of block against using the One Power effectively, and without training, they are usually limited to one or two Talents they have discovered on their own. Most commonly, these women have learned how to listen in on the conversations of others through a long-distance form of eavesdropping, or they have learned how to get what they want through a type of Compulsion. Some however, learn to Heal, or predict the weather, or a number of other specialized skills, depending on their everyday occupation. They may not even realize that they are channeling when they do so, as was the case with Nynaeve al'Meara. "Almost every wilder who came to the White Tower for training--both true wilders, who really had begun teaching themselves, and girls who merely had started touching the Source because the spark born in them had quickened on its own; for some sisters there was no real difference--nearly every one of those wilders had created at least one trick for herself, and those tricks almost invariably fell under one of two headings. A way to listen in on other people's conversations, or a way of making people do as they wanted." —The Path of Daggers, Prologue
Once Queens' Georama is 100% completed, he'll reward Toan with the Macho Sword, which was originally a gift for his nephew Macho in Norune Village. However, Macho preferred to fight with his bare hands. Of note is that this sword offers one of the easiest paths to the Chronicle Sword.

Wilder is a senior in High School, where he plays Drumline. He used to be a part of a local band known as The BFGs until they went on an indefinite hiatus in the summer of 2008. He is still known to constantly bring it up. Shortly before Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out in Japan, Wilder left the forums to avoid spoilers regarding the new game. He did not return for three months, leading some to doubt he would ever return. He did return eventually, and nobody noticed.
