In spite of the fact that they were mostly deaf and senile, the ungodly shrill of the BBBBBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ vuvuzela was still a sound that even the deaf elders could still make out. Pourtant la vie n'a pas toujours été rose pour ce petit animal atta-chiant. Ainsi au début du XXème siècle, les vuvuzelas ont frôlé l’extinction quand les boers ont tenté de les exterminer. Ces immigrés clandestins hollandais aux oreilles aussi aseptisées que les insipides fromages de tarlouzes qu'ils se fourrent dans le groin ne supportaient pas leurs cris, plus connus sous le nom de bourdonnement du diable. Heureusement les gentils hommes noirs finirent par reprendre le pouvoir, c'est pas des immigrés acariâtres qui vont faire la loi quand même ! Leur président Nelson Mandela lança une vaste opération de sauvetage pour permettre aux vuvuzelas de prospérer à nouveau et ainsi condamner ces salauds de fumeur de tulipes à rester enfermés chez eux ou à finir sourds. Black Power ! Pour les protéger on a donc entassé les vuvuzelas dans des réserves naturelles vertes, luxuriantes et chaudes : les stades, un écosystème où elles peuvent s’épanouir et prospérer en toute liberté. Depuis lors des visiteurs du monde entier payent très cher pour se rendre dans ces parcs animaliers pour voir et jouer avec les vuvuzelas. Non seulement cet argent finance la campagne de sauvetage de la vuvuzela mais il a aussi permis de donner un coup de fouet à l'économie sud-africaine et notamment à l'industrie des boules Quiès dont ce pays est devenu le leader mondial incontesté. En récompense de toutes ces actions, Nelson Mandela a obtenu le Prix Nobel de la paix. Enfin de la paix, de la paix, pas celle des oreilles en tout cas mais bon tout le monde sait que le jury du Nobel est constitué de vieux schnocks sourds comme des pots et qui n'ont plus de contacts avec la réalité depuis qu'ils sont constamment enfermés dans une tour d'ivoire nommé vieillesse.

Dem ehemaligen deutschen Fußballspieler Uwe Seeler war es zu verdanken, dass dieses Instrument Anfang 2000 seinen populären Siegeszug im internationalen Fußball antrat. Besonderer Höhepunkt war die WM 2010, bei der ca. 20 Milliarden Vuvuzelas weltweit an Fußballfans verkauft wurden. Wissenschaftler konnten während dieser Zeit einen Schalldruckpegel von mehr als 400 Decibel in der oberen Stratosphäre der Erde messen.
