  • Spices are the illegal merchandise of SWG. They are outlawed by the Empire and must be kept hidden. Whether the extra edge in battle is worth this cost, is up to you. Spices do not add to stomach filling and can "stack" with Food and Drinks that may affect the same stats. The following table shows the effect of all spice types on stats. (All obsolete stat numbers are percentages.)

  • Spices are the illegal merchandise of SWG. They are outlawed by the Empire and must be kept hidden. Spices provide a temporary boost to physical and mental abilities, but their strength has a cost in the form of a "downer," a short period of time where your character will be puking. Whether the extra edge in battle is worth this cost, is up to you. Spices have been completely changed by the CU. All spices now increase at least one stat by a percentage, and decrease exactly one stat by a percentage, for a period of time. Higher level spices increase more stats, and for a longer period of time. There is still a downer, but it only lasts 30 seconds and subtracts from the stats that were improved during the duration of the spice, as well as keeping the stat that was reduced. While for a short time after the CU went live you were able to take more than one spice at a time, this has recently been fixed. As before, you must wait until the downer effects of a spice have passed before you can take another spice. Spices do not add to stomach filling and can "stack" with Food and Drinks that may affect the same stats. The following table shows the effect of all spice types on stats. (All obsolete stat numbers are percentages.)
