Not long after, he joined the Revanchists led by Revan, also known as the Revanchist. He was severely injured in the Battle of Malachor V in 3,960 BBY when the Mass Shadow Generator was activated. Left to die, he was consumed by the dark side of the Force and later found by his mother, Arren Kae, who herself had fallen to the dark side when she walked the surface of the planet. There, they started a Sith Academy and took the names Darth Sion and Darth Traya. The Dark Lords of the Sith found and manipulated a being—or half of one—spawned by Sion's own former Jedi Padawan, Zayne Carrick. When the Jedi Civil War concluded, he was an important figure in the First Jedi Purge along with Darth Nihilus and Darth Haagen. Years later, in 3,951 BBY, he was killed by his former Padawan, Zayne Carrick, another exiled Jedi.
