  • St. Valupis College Prep, founded 1877, is a College Preparatory located in and/or just outside of Edina, Minnesota. St. Valupis was founded by Father Daniel Violi who was assisted in the original administration of the school's functions by Brother Chris Sanders, Brother Kenneth Golonka, Brother Andrew Stanek, Brother Lucas Pinoli, Brother Chris Castellucio, Mother Casey Angst and Mother Eileen O'Donoghue. Together these 8 make up the original, fabled Founding Family. St. Valupis, though originally founded as an all male school, began accepting female students in 1972 due to tightening budget constraints. This expansion into a coed school was greatly contested by a large portion of the alumni base and was well documented in the local newspaper the Edina Edict and in the school's weekly Vallopian Journal. The school's colors are Teal and Black and their mascot is the Fighting Vallopian Tubes.
