Biography
  • Ranny Dodd is a former NASCAR driver from Newhall, CA. He competed in four Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Dodd's debut came in 1967, when he competed at Riverside. Starting 43rd in the field of forty-four, Dodd had early mechanical issues but still managed a 33rd place finish. Dodd's next race came in 1969, when he competed at Riverside. Starting 34th in the field, Dodd lost his rear end gear late in the race but once again still managed an okay finish. This time, it was a career-best 16th place outing. Dodd's final two races came in 1970, both of which came non-surprisingly at Riverside. DNFs continued to plague Dodd but, yet again, he still managed respectable finishes. He finished 23rd in the January event following early clutch issues and then finished 26th in the June event following an engine issue. External Links *Stats
