However the situation didn't take place, forcing Vail's colleagues, the Office of Special Projects led by G. Callen to launch a raid in the hope of saving Dom but the raid ended in tragedy with Dom dying after taking gunfire originally meant for Sam Hanna. Keshwar was eventually given over to the Army CID as part of a prisoner transfer but it went horribly wrong, resulting in a shootout which left a CID Agent dead and two injured with NCIS Director Leon Vance dispatching OSP to track down Keshwar. It was soon discovered that Army CID Agent Rick Medina was in league with Keshwar and he was killed, attempting to fight back against Callen, Sam and Kensi Blye. Keshwar's fate is not known but it's presumed that he was arrested and jailed for his crimes.
