  • Maurice Barrette (born February 17, 1956 in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired Canadian goaltender. He played major junior for the Quebec Remparts from 1973 to 1976. He was chosen 44th overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1976 WHA Amateur Draft and 90th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft. Barrette chose to go with the Canadiens. He played for the Nova Scotia Voyageurs from 1976 to 1978, winning the Harry "Hap" Holmes Memorial Award in 1977-78. In 1978-79 he split the season between the Voyageurs and the Springfield Indians. Barrette retired in 1979.
