| abstract | - John Thomas is a member of The Pride, codenamed "Deadman". He is the scout, and the newest member of the team. Though his history is fairly clean, He was a US Marine from 1990 to 1993. He was contacted by Umbrella sometime while he was in the Marine Corp and was hired, soon afterwards he was honorably discharged. Thomas participated in the Redwood City Incident as his first mission, though he was supposed to go to Raccoon City in 1998 to kill Birkin, he wasn't able to participate due to his lack of experience as was sent to train with "The Pride". He manages survivor of the Redwood City Incident, along with Meryl Larren.
