Despite Izari's meteoric rise along the Shinobi ranks, his origins are a mystery to all but his former mentor, Samiya. Izari is in-fact the current leader of the Puppet Brigade, a fact only known among its membership. He is a puppeteer of incredible skill who has spent his whole life encased in the shell known as the "Red Storm." He was once a boy who aspired to greatness and was studious in his attempts to learn all he could about Taijutsu and Ninjutsu. Unfortunately, his body would not cooperate with this desire, for it possessed a rare, crippling illness that caused all of his Tenketsu to be active at once, leading to any significant expenditure of chakra being near-fatal to the man. Learning of this condition, Samiya had wished to utilize Izari's potential as both a stepping stone to advance the art of puppetry, but also give Izari a chance to fulfill his dreams. Inviting Izari to the promise of a future as a Shinobi, the former Kazekage taught the young boy all about Chakra Threads and crafting Puppets. Echoing stories of the infamous Sasori and his use of Hiruko, Izari sought the same path. Entering the Academy at a slightly later age, Izari continually perfected the path of puppetry while simultaneously applying his passion for the more traditional crafts of a Shinobi. Over the course of his career, Izari's passion grew for both puppetry and classical Shinobi combat, eventually molding himself into a truly powerful force for his village, and a man that overcame his own limits.
