| abstract | - Captain Sulu took the USS Excelsior near the Klingon border when the moon Praxis exploded. The explosion created a temporal vortex. Emerging from the vortex was a K'Tinga-class battle cruiser, the Amar, long thought to have been lost during the V'Ger invasion. The Amar fired a torpedo at the Excelsior. The Excelsior's shields held. The Excelsior then fired her phasers and photon torpedoes at the Amar and the Amar exploded into a million pieces! Sulu then contacted the Klingon High Command and asked if they needed assistance. Brigadier Kerla replied "The situation is under control! We have no need for assistance! Obey treaty stipulations and remain outside the Neutral Zone!" But the truth was that the Klingons were dying!
