Good Bees are only found in the cave at the southeast corner of Lake Hylia where the Ice Rod is. If Link dashes into the fountain or uses the Quake Medallion, the Good Bee will fly out of it. He can capture it with the Bug-Catching Net.

He can capture it with the Bug-Catching Net. If Link releases a Good Bee from a bottle, it will attack all the enemies on screen. Unlike regular bees, it returns to Link once all the enemies have been defeated. The Good Bee can also be sold to the bottle merchant in Kakariko Village by releasing it near him. Link is given 100 Rupees for selling it. The release sometimes fails, however, as the bee may wander off to attack the Weathercock. In the Game Boy Advance port, Link can purchase Good Bees in stores in the Dark World if he shows one to the shopkeepers. If he does not have one, the shopkeeper will state that the Good Bee is too valuable to give away.
