* Creation of Constructs: One of the most notable uses of the Screw Flower technique is the ability for the focal sphere to be utilized as a medium for other blood-based constructs. One of the most evident constructs that Muketsu uses is a katana, in replacement of his own. Also, he has demonstrated creation of kunai, shuriken and similar ninja tools in order to allow instantaneous transition from one combat form to the other, leaving his enemies with no opportunity to react.
* Reinforcement of Techniques: The second use of the Screw Flower technique is, quite evidently, the reinforcement of techniques. Because the sphere collects a large amount of blood that constantly rotates, it can quickly reinforce any technique that Muketsu directs it towards, while providing a rotation towards it that further enhances its overall capabilities.
* Barrier Erection: Another evident use of this technique is to create small barriers capable of repelling projectiles such as kunai or shuriken. Also, due to its rotational properties, it can "catch" a projectile, and subsequently increase its force as it rotates a complete three-hundred-and-sixty degrees.
