Synopsis
  • As the FF test a new device that takes pictures of distant galaxies, the Frightful Four reunite. After a brief scuffle over who should lead the group, the Wizard begins their next plot. Brilliantly sending Madam Medusa to easily capture the helpless Invisible Girl, the Frightful Four issue a challenge to the FF to have them meet on island in the ocean. Going after the Frightful Four, the FF are not aware that the Wizard has hidden a nuclear bomb on the island and intends to destroy them in a nuclear explosion. While the FF battle the Frightful Four, the Wizard sets the bomb to go off, with an unconscious Sue Storm lying underground next to the deadly Q-bomb. And while the heroes manage to free Sue from her bonds, the Frightful Four manage to escape, stranding the FF on the island. When the bomb is about to go off, Sue erects an invisible force field that protects them from the blast, however the exposure to radiation causes their unconscious bodies to revert into normal humans once more.
