| abstract | - Sage Mode is an extremely rare technique in the shinobi world and Owl Sage Mode has only been seen a few times throughout history. Though it was first mastered by an unnamed shinobi roughly four hundred years prior to the formation of Konohagakure, the most prominent user of Owl Sage Mode was Kenta Unmei, who mastered the ability after his near death experience at the hands of Madara Uchiha. Since Kenta, no known shinobi has mastered Owl Sage Mode or even had any direct contact with Kodai. Owl Sage Mode, like all sage modes, grants the user the ability to utilize the natural force of the world and unlocks a wide variety of new powerful techniques, as well as grants the user incredible physical capabilities. One advantage of Owl Sage Mode that is not typical off all sage modes is the addition of functional wings. By supplementing these wings with Wind Release, the user can achieve flight and reach incredible speeds with relative ease. In addition to wings, with Owl Sage Mode active the user typically develops a brown, feather-like pattern above their eyes.
