| abstract | - Gudnem's Gadget Emporium was a shop on the first level of Nar Shaddaa's Promenade during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Near the end of the Cold War, the shop served as a front for a Republic Strategic Information Service safe house, where Agent Rieekan directed the SIS's operations in the area. However, the shop was attacked by Mark II Power Guards under the control of the Sith apprentice Lord Sadic, and the Power Guards killed all of the store's employees and patrons on their way to the concealed turbolift that led to the SIS base. An unknown Jedi Knight, who was attempting to destroy the Power Guard Project and rescue the SIS Agent Galen, returned to the shop and destroyed the Power Guards who were still patrolling the shop, and freed the remaining agents in the safe house below.
