  • * The title of this episode is a reference to the song "Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred. The song is also performed in "Model Misbehavior". * When Stewie asks Lois what's the worst that could happen if he was left home by himself, a cutaway scene shows Stewie in a robe surrounded by beautiful women dressed as bunnies. This is an reference to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and his famous Playboy Mansion parties. Stewie is called Griff by guest James Caan who punches a girl in the face, a reference to his history of playing violent characters as well as the fact that in 1980, Caan was charged with beating his ex-wife Sheila Ryan after she told him she planned to remarry. * As Stewie slips on the Griffins’ floor, he says “Damn you, Mop & Glo,” a cleaning product. * Stewie refers to the Griffins’ home as a 'Hooverville', a Great Depression-era term for a shantytown. * Peter slaps Lois in the bathroom, yelling “Get a hold of yourself,” a parody of a scene from the 1980 film Airplane! * Stewie uses an ultraviolet scanner to look for germs and exclaims "Oatmeal? Spittle? Semen? This must be where Wilford Brimley was strangled by Bob Crane". However, it wasn't Wilford Brimley but actor Bob Crane who was murdered in 1978. The reference to the oatmeal comes from Wilford Brimley's commercials for the Quaker Oats brand. The reference to semen comes from the evidence of semen found on Bob Crane's dead body. * When swimming, Stewie says he feels like “a young Johnny Weissmuller,” a 1920s-era Olympic swimmer who gained fame playing Tarzan. * Chris’ “great-great-great-uncle” Jabba the Griffin is a parody of Jabba the Hutt. The reference showed Jabba holding on to Leia's chain when she was a slave, while talking to her in Huttese, though ends the sentence saying “Wookie nipple pinchy” in reference to Jabba's semi-English speech patterns. * Stewie taunts Chris saying the meatloaf is "orgasmic". He proceeds to have a bite and pretends to have an orgasm. As Stewie finishes his act, Brian says motioning to Stewie "I'll have what he's having". This is a reference to the line "I'll have what she's having" from the deli scene in the film When Harry Met Sally. * When Peter couldn’t stop staring at the mirror and has an accident as a result, it parallels Narcissus, a man in Greek mythology who fell in love with himself and drowned to death in a pool of water that reflected his own image.
