| abstract | - The Toa Nuva are in shock of Vakama's claim. They begin to jab at the Turaga for answers. Vakama then begins his tale of Toa before them; the Toa Metru. In the time before time, the Turaga were Matoran living on the island of Metru Nui. They were summoned to the Great Temple in Ga-Metru, where they transformed into Toa. The new Toa were in confusion due to their transformation. Vakama however, was having a vision telling him that the city would fall, but the Great Disks could save it. Onewa claimed Vakama was crazy, but Vakama pointed out that this was their destiny. All of them knew that the city was in danger of a Morbuzakh plant. In his vision, Vakama had seen six Matoran who were in grave danger, but knew the location of the Great Disks. However, he also saw that one of them was a traitor. The Toa Metru set off to find the six Matoran from their respective Metrus. Vakama saves a Ta-Matoran from a Morbuzakh vine using his disk launcher. The Matoran tells him that a four legged creature tampered with a protodermis vat. The other Toa Metru had no better luck; it seems as if somebody did not want them to find the Matoran, nor the disks. Vakama finds Nuhrii, the Matoran who knew the Ta-Metru disk's whereabouts. He rescues Nuhrii, who was stuck under rubble, and gathered with the other Toa Metru. The Toa conclude that one of the Matoran was lying about their danger, and that the Morbuzakh threat might be even worse than they thought.
