rdfs:comment | - Osskeetia, also called Oss Osskeetia by the local inhabitants, was a small, isolated planet on the edge of the Anoat sector, near Bespin. It was one of the few inhabitable trinary star systems within the galaxy. Because two of the three stars within this system were constantly interfering with the gravity of the primary star, it caused the planets within this system to have erratic orbits. This orbit caused Osskeetia to wander closer and farther away from the heat and warmth of its suns. All of this caused what many considered to have been the most diverse, yet violent weather patterns in the galaxy.

abstract | - Osskeetia, also called Oss Osskeetia by the local inhabitants, was a small, isolated planet on the edge of the Anoat sector, near Bespin. The fluctuations of heat and light from the stars caused the planet’s climate to be in a constant state of change. Areas that were considered to be in the sub-tropics literally dropped drastically in temperature overnight and easily approached the freezing point of water (or 0°C). Similarly cooler areas on the planets would often spike up in terms temperature. This created massive air currents within the atmosphere that even modern starships had trouble dealing with. They contained winds that went up to 250 mph and generated massive thunderstorms within this planet’s unstable atmosphere. The planet was famous for its ability to go from clear, calm skys to hurricane like conditions within only a few hours. Needless to say, this also caused countless other rapid weather changes. To avoid this, the local population only lived in small settlements in the scattered valleys and canyons across the planet’s surface, making civilization even more isolated on this already remote planet. Because of this, the planet had been largely ignored by the rest of the galaxy and only a few people knew of this forgotten world.
